Recently, Suzanne Weber touted an endorsement from a big business, PAC, as a reason to support her to represent our communities in Salem. Weber has taken thousands of dollars from corporate special interests like big oil companies and drug companies. So, we wonder just who’s issues she would support if she went to Salem?

I know Debbie Booth-Schmidt. She is the owner of a small business. She has also worked in the court system, and is the mom of two daughters. Debbie volunteers for the transit system and other local non-profits and cares about the needs of this region. She is one of us and is committed to helping our communities. Debbie will support strong schools, expansion of good paying jobs, affordable healthcare and safe and affordable housing. She knows how to work cooperatively to make change.

I’m giving my vote and my time to electing Debbie Booth Schmidt. Please join me.
