The Cannon Beach City Council supports the Clatsop Community College Patriot Hall Redevelopment Project Bond Measure. The proposed reconstruction improvements are important to the entire county and the bond measure will leverage $7.99 million in local bond funds to raise, and an additional $8 million in state funds would be used to complete this project.

Upon completion, Patriot Hall will be structurally sound, meet seismic requirements and be an energy-efficient building. The new instructional space that will be created will support new parametric, and mental health and alcohol worker programs which are critical to our are. The benefit of providing much needed first-responder training locally is critical to protecting the health and safety of our citizens and guests. The Cannon Beach City Council endorses Clatsop Community College’s November 2014 bond measure. Please join us in voting yes.
