COVID-19

The Clatsop County Public Health Department on Tuesday, Oct. 13, reported two new local COVID-19 cases.

The individuals are:

• Male, age 40-49, north-county resident

• Male, age 60-69, north-county resident

Both were recovering at home.

The county has recorded a total of 233 COVID-19 cases since March. Two hundred and twenty-one of those individuals have recovered; the others are convalescing at home.

The county is offering drive-through COVID-19 testing to members of the public two days a week. In most cases testing is being limited to those with COVID-19 symptoms or individuals who are contacts of positive cases.
