The Clatsop County Public Health Department on Wednesday, Feb. 17, reported five new COVID-19 cases.
The cases are:
Male, age 40-49, north-county resident
Female, age 80-89, north-county resident
Male, age 70-79, south-county resident
Female, age 50-59, north-county resident
Male, age 60-69, north-county resident
All five individuals were recovering at home.
The county has recorded a total of 768 COVID-19 cases since March 2020. Eighteen of those cases resulted in hospitalization. Six individuals have died.
PLEASE NOTE – The county’s Risk Level status under the State of Oregon’s COVID-19 guidance metrics for business and social activity is based on COVID-19 case data as compiled by the Oregon Health Authority. The state’s case totals may differ from the county’s.
The county and Oregon Health and Science University are offering drive-through COVID-19 testing to members of the public.
