COVID-19

The Clatsop County Public Health Department on Tuesday, Jan. 5, reported eight new local COVID-19 cases.

The cases are:

Male, age 30-39, north-county resident

Female, age 50-59, north-county resident

Female, age 90-99, north-county resident

Female, age 30-39, north-county resident

Female, age 80-89, north-county resident

Female, age 30-39, north-county resident

Female, age 50-59, north-county resident

Female, age 80-89, north-county resident

All eight individuals are recovering at home.

The county has recorded a total of 614 COVID-19 cases since March. Ten of those cases resulted in hospitalization. Three individuals have died.

The county is offering drive-through COVID-19 testing to members of the public, including rapid tests with same-day results.
