Holly pattern

The inaugural Wheeler Winter Festival and Holiday Market is set for Friday, Dec. 13, through Sunday, Dec. 15, on the Wheeler Waterfront. Salmonberry Saloon plans to continue the tradition for years to come, said Chantelle, from Salmonberry Saloon.

There will be north coast food and craft vendors for all of your holiday gifting needs.

“We’re still working out the menu – we have a taco bar so far and will add more seasonal dishes,” Chantelle said.

There will be locally-sourced food available at the market and in the Saloon.

Craft vendors will be: Moon River Farm (produce and preserved good), North Fork 53 Tea (farm-grown tea gifts and hot tea bar), Fig & Salvia (houseplants), Miss Blackberry (100 percent beeswax candles, honey, jam and stained glass), Canna Honey, Workman Pottery, LeGoos Prints (tea towels), Pelican & Piper, River City Flower Farm, Reiki Body Butter (massage and body products), Bow and Arrow Wine and many more.

Live music will be performed at 5 p.m. daily. Orquestra Pacifico Tropical and Tribe Mars will perform on Friday, Blesst Chest and Strange Babes will perform on Saturday, and Forest Grove Outlaws and Fronjentress will perform Sunday.

“All proceeds will go to Food Roots (after production costs) to help them continue their mission to grow a robust and equitable food system in Tillamook County through community engagement, education, food producer support and improved access to local food,” Chantelle said.

Santa will make an appearance from 2-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
