COVID-19

The Clatsop County Public Health Department reports three new local COVID-19 cases, as of Monday, July 6.

The department recorded a confirmed case involving a female north-county resident age 20-29. Two presumptive cases, both male north-county residents age 20-29, were also recorded.

“Confirmed” cases are those for which a positive COVID-19 test was recorded; “presumptive” cases involve people who are close or household contacts of confirmed cases who are displaying COVID-19 symptoms but who have not yet been tested or whose test results are not yet available.

All three new cases were quarantined at home.

The county has recorded a total of 52 confirmed and two presumptive cases since March 23. Forty-six of those individuals have recovered; the others are convalescing at home.
