COVID-19

The Clatsop County Public Health Department reported Monday, Aug. 3, that seven new local COVID-19 cases were recorded over the weekend.

The cases are:

• Female, age 40-49, north county resident

• Female, age 40-49, south county resident

• Male, age 50-59, south county resident

• Female, age 20-29, north county resident

• Male, age 20-29, north county resident

• Female, age 80-89, north county resident

• Female, age 60-69, north county resident

All the individuals are recovering at home.

The county has recorded a total of 81 cases since March 23. Sixty-five of those individuals have recovered; the others are convalescing at home.
