Saturnino Romero Martinez 

Seaside Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at 1:20 .m. Friday, June 19, made by the victim spouse of Saturnino Romero Martinez, 39, of Seaside. The victim was transported to Columbia Memorial Hospital while Seaside officers attempted to local Martinez, who had fled the scene as officers arrived.

According to police, it was determined that Martinez later returned to the residence and officers were able to take him into custody for attempted murder, strangulation, Assault IV, menacing, harassment and interfering with a police officer. Two children within the residence were released to family friends.

Statements made by the victim, as well as injuries sustained, determined there was probable cause to arrest Martinez on the above listed charges.
