‘Unexpected Amenities’ at PAC

David Drury

Partners for the PAC presents an evening of “Unexpected Amenities,” a concert of stellar jazz played by world-class musicians Saturday, Feb. 3, at 7 p.m.

Guitarist David Drury performs with three Portland musicians — Dave Captein bassist, Charlie Dogget drummer, and Rob Davis saxophonist. “Unexpected Amenities,” refers to the essence of jazz. Drury will perform some of his own compositions, which reflect his close-to-a-lifetime in music, encompassing jazz, rock, classical, funk and rhythm and blues.

Proceeds will benefit the Performing Arts Center. Astoria vocalist Dinah Urell will join the group for a few tunes.

The center is located at 588 16th St. in Astoria. Admission is $15 at the door; children under 12 free with an adult. This concert is supported by a grant from the Clatsop County Cultural Coalition and the Oregon Cultural Trust. For more information visit www.supportthepac.org.
