Tommy Rocker rocks the house for the Cannon Beach Academy

Seaside High School Hall of Fame member Tommy Rocker will play a benefit concert with his band for the Cannon Beach Academy at the American Legion in Seaside.

On Saturday, Sept. 22, hometown boy Tommy Rocker returns to play a benefit concert for the Cannon Beach Academy at 7 p.m. at Seaside’s American Legion. Doors open at 6 p.m. Cover charge is a $10 entry fee with a raffle and silent auction.

Tommy Rocker and his band engages the audience with sing-alongs and comedy bits while playing high energy rock and country music from Aerosmith to ZZ Top and Jimmy Buffett to Zac Brown. His current tour includes Oregon, Hawaii, California, Arizona, Alaska and Idaho.

Rocker is a graduate of Seaside High School where he started his first band. He currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada and owns Tommy Rocker’s Mojave Beach Bar & Grill. When it comes to charity his motto is “The answer is yes, where is the event.”
