Seaside High School drama is gearing up to present their fall play, Altar Egos: The Dos and I Don’ts of an American Wedding,” by Pat Cook, on Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. in the Seaside High School Cafetorium.
“All we want is a simple wedding,” agree Mark and Colleen as they get engaged. And their simple wedding stays simple, for about two minutes. Then the families get involved.
The cast introduces Frida Ruff and Dakota Young as the newly engaged couple; Gretchen Hoekstre and Chance Giguiere as the bride’s parents; Majestik DeLuz and Jack Stapleton as the groom’s parents; and a supporting cast full of kooky characters. The play is directed and produced by Susan Baertlein; assisted by Ann Branson and Chloe Kincaid.
Performances of this comedic farce are Friday Nov. 2, Saturday, Nov. 3 and the following week, Nov. 8, 9, and 10. Doors open at 6:30 and performances begin at 7 p.m.
Altar Egos is presented with permission from Eldridge Publishing Company.
