10:46 a.m., Haystack Rock: Subject warned for climbing the rock.

12:27 p.m., Old Cannon Beach Road: Police respond to a complaint about a person acting oddly and going door to door collecting cans. Subject is advised of complaint and leaves on foot.

4:10 p.m., 1500 block S. Spruce: Police assist with a medical call regarding a male possibly having a heart attack. Subject is transported to Seaside Providence Hospital by Medix.

Jan. 14

3:07 p.m., N. Spruce: A man with a broken or dislocated wrist is transported to Seaside Providence Hospital by Medix.

9:17 p.m., Sewer Ponds: A suffering raccoon apparently struck by a car is humanely euthanized by police.

5:31 a.m., 7900 block Cannon Road: Police assist the fire department with a person with altered mental status.

12:03 p.m., Police headquarters: A person reports losing their wallet on Neahkahnie Mountain.

7:55 p.m., 3800 block S. Hemlock: Police assist Alpha Taxi with collecting a fare from an intoxicated female.

Jan. 18

10:26 a.m., 600 block N. Hemlock: Police dispatched to a home to tell the person inside their spouse had fallen on the beach. The injured party was transported to Seaside Providence Hospital for medical attention.

11:54 a.m., 100 block N. Hemlock: A burglary was attempted.

5:48 p.m., 1500 block N. Franklin: Cannon Beach police assist Seaside police with a potentially suicidal subject. Subject was highly intoxicated; a friend took over the situation.

January 19

10:23 p.m., 1200 block S. Hemlock: Police assist a homeless woman traveling by bus as she is trespassed from Helping Hands. She was given a ride to Stop ‘n Go.

Jan. 20

12:19 a.m., First Avenue: Police assist Seaside police with a male subject in a drug psychosis running down the street. Man is taken into custody at the Seaside police station.

6:23 a.m., Fifth Street: Police assist fire department with subject who couldn’t get a gas fireplace to turn off. Northwest Natural is on scene to remedy the situation.

Jan. 21

9:40 a.m., 3700 block Coho Place: Police intervene and intercept a child with marijuana at the bus stop.

2:33 p.m., Warren Way: Theft of merchandise is reported; manager declined to press charges if the merchandise is returned; the person came in and paid for the item.

3:21 p.m., 600 block Breakers Point: A juvenile female with an allergy is assisted with an EpiPen prior to police arrival. Juvenile transported by Medix.

Jan. 23

11:14 p.m., Elk Land: A person is arrested and charged with DUII. Police say subjected tested a blood alcohol content of .21 percent.
