Providence Seaside Hospital presents a pain education program Feb. 8. Attendees will meet in the education center of the hospital from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

When people understand how pain really works, their pain decreases. The class is designed to help understand how pain works in the body and brain.

There is no charge to attend. Reservations are required by phone or registering online.

Future classes take place April 14, May 13, June 9, July 15, Aug. 18, Sept. 9, Oct. 13, Nov. 11 and Dec. 8.
