The Lower Nehalem Watershed Council presents their annual barbecue to recognize their volunteers and celebrate the council’s accomplishments. The event takes place Saturday, Sept. 16, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Nehalem City Park.

The council is dedicated to the protection, preservation and enhancement of the Nehalem Watershed through leadership, cooperation, and education. The annual barbecue is a chance for everyone to celebrate the accomplishments of the council and is free and open to the public.
