Ham Dinner held Oct. 13 to benefit firefighters

TJ White, Mike Johnson and Steven Moon served up ham at the annual volunteer firefighters benefit dinner in October 2016.

Everyone is invited to attend the 71st annual Volunteer Firefighter Benefit Ham Dinner from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 13 at the Cannon Beach Conference Center.

At $15 a plate, all proceeds go to the Cannon Beach Rural Protection District to purchase of much-needed equipment, according to the district. This year there will be a silent auction, as well as We a new limited edition supporter t-shirt available for sale. Last year’s proceeds purchased several items, including a Zoll cardiac monitor, five Zoll AEDs and other items, according to the district.

Tickets can be purchased at the fire station, at the Cannon Beach Surf Shop, or at the door the day of the event.
