Columbia Memorial Hospital (CMH) will open a new multi-specialty clinic and urgent care facility in Seaside later this year.

CMH’s Board of Trustees approved the expansion plans at the end of 2018 due to an ongoing need to improve access to care in the Lower Columbia Region.

“Our mission is to provide local, high quality and convenient care in the communities we serve,” said CMH CEO Erik Thorsen. “The most recently completed Community Health Needs Assessment shows access to care remains a significant concern in the region. The addition of a Seaside location will help to meet this need and offer a convenient location for our patients who currently travel from south Clatsop County.”

CMH plans to begin construction in the summer, utilizing design concepts from CMH’s successful Planetree philosophy. Services offered at the new location will include primary care and specialty care, urgent care, virtual care, and diagnostics services, such as imaging and labs.
