2020 election

The Oregon primary election took place Tuesday, May 19. So far, 56 percent of voters are in favor of the five-year local option tax renewal for the fairgrounds. Sixty-one percent of voters are in favor of the Cannon Beach Fire District staffing and operations levy.

Unofficial results show that John Toyooka has won the nonpartisan vote for Clatsop County Commissioner, District 2, with 59.12 percent of the vote. Courtney Bangs won the nonpartisan vote for Clatsop County Commissioner, District 4, with 63.15 percent of the vote.

The next batch of results will be released May 20 in the afternoon.
