Holiday fundraiser

Clatsop Animal Assistance (CAA) is excited to announce the 2021 annual virtual fundraiser. Because the virtual Pup Strut and Kitty Cuddle fundraiser last fall was so successful, they are continuing this year with the virtual Happy Tails Holiday Fundraiser, which runs through New Year’s Day.

Join in celebrating the animals in our lives and the ones still waiting for loving homes at the Clatsop County Animal Shelter. Please tell your fellow animal lovers about the hard work CAA volunteers do every day of the year to ensure the safety and well being of all of the animals in Clatsop County. There are no paid employees, just animal lovers.

Log in directly at https://secure.givelively.org/donate/clatsop-animal-assistance/happy-tails-holiday-fundraiser, from the website at www.dogsncats.org, or texting CAANOW to 44-321. And please feel free to share and invite your friends to join in the fun.

Thanks to all of you for your continuing support. You make it possible for CAA to provide help and hope for the homeless dogs and cats in Clatsop County. Because of you, CAA is always confident they can cover veterinary costs for the shelter animals, from wellness checkups for kittens to major surgeries and follow-up care. And CAA continues to cover a portion of spay/neuter costs; every dog or cat adopted from the shelter is altered before going home.

About CAA: Clatsop Animal Assistance, also known as CAA, is a 501(c) 3 all-volunteer organization dedicated to helping the Clatsop County Animal Shelter’s homeless pets. We support these animals by providing funds to pay for veterinary care, spay/neuter fees, medicines, cat litter, grooming, specialty-diet foods, and other supplies not covered by the shelter budget. We promote the shelter animals by providing advertising and promotional materials and by sponsoring adoption events. CAA helps turn hardship and suffering into happy endings, sending a message of compassion and caring for animals out into the community.
