The Hood to Coast Relay Finish Line will take place in Seaside on Saturday, Aug. 24 and Sunday, Aug. 25. The Hood to Coast Relay is almost 200 miles long, stretching from Mt. Hood to the Oregon Coast. The 1,050 teams of 12,600 runners, 3600 volunteers, and all of the teams’ supporters come to the Hood to Coast (HTC) Finish Line at the beach in Seaside to celebrate the big finish with food, a beer garden, music, awards, and more.
HTC began in 1982 with eight teams, and has filled the team cap for 28 years, and on opening day of registration for 21 years. The HTC start id located at Timberline Lodge on Mount Hood. Start waves are estimated to be 5 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 24
1:45-4:45 p.m. – Brian O’Dell Band performs on stage
5:15 p.m. – Sponsor awards and thank you to the City of Seaside
5:25 p.m. – Trophy presentation for overall winning women’s and men’s Hood To Coast and Portland To Coast Walk teams
5:30 p.m. – Providence Cancer Center overall fundraising results announcement
6:45-11 p.m. – Radical Revolution performs on stage
Sunday, Aug. 25
9 a.m. – Portland To Coast Walk, PTC High School Challenge, & Hood To Coast Awards Ceremony (main finish area stage on beach)
