Columbia, Clatsop and Tillamook counties enjoy a bounty of farms. That’s why you’ll find a farmer’s market just about any day of the week on the north coast. Although berry season got off to slow start because of a very rainy spring (right through June), it has deliciously rebound. But that’s not all – here’s what you can find available from local farmers now:

- Blackberries and blueberries

- Cucumbers – slicing and pickling

- Onions – red, sweet yellow and green

- Artichokes (purple artichokes next month)

- Beets (for salads, pickling and canning)

- Green beans

- Cauliflower and broccoli

- Fennel

- Arugula

- Basil

- Carrots

- Fresh salad greens

And don’t forget all the other foodie goodies available: jams, coffee, bakery, candies, tea, meats and fish.
