CB Arts Association
The Cannon Beach Arts Association is hosting a group show with water as the theme. The show will be on exhibit from March 4 through March 29, with an opening reception on Saturday, March 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the CB Gallery at 1064 Hemlock St. in midtown. Haystack Gallery
During the month of March, the Haystack Gallery in Cannon Beach will feature several local artists with works evolving around the theme of "Savor Cannon Beach." Artist Michael Tieman will unveil in bronze "The Wine Thief," his newest sculpture in the Hands of the Artist collection. Sally O'Neill will have two new oil paintings in the gallery, created for the wine event. Helvetia Winery will be pouring its wines in the gallery from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, during the Wine Walk fundraiser for the Cannon Beach Children's Center. For information, call (503) 436-2547.
Primary Elements
Two new Northwest artists are on display at Primary Elements gallery in Sandpiper Square. Stained glass artist Ron Rogers has delivered a 6 foot by 2 foot framed stained glass work titled Vin"es" and will have additional work on display for Savor Cannon Beach in March. Rogers specializes in entry doors, fireplace screens and unique designs for new construction and existing spaces. Sculpture Stephen C. Au Naturel

Jennie's Baskets
An exhibit of Native American baskets, collected by the Daggett family, will be on display at the Cannon Beach History Center and Museum through mid-July. Fiber Arts Classes
Astoria Visual Arts' (AVA) Fiber Arts Academy is set to open in January 2010 in Astoria. The Fiber Arts Academy provides a new way for home weavers on the Northwest coast to practice their craft in a communal work space.
